The City of Hollywood remains under a level 2 (partial) activation of our Emergency Operations Center.
The City of Hollywood is announcing additional proactive measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Effectively immediately and until further notice, under the City’s Declaration of Emergency, Hollywood Beach and the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk are closed to the public.
SUN SHUTTLE
The Sun Shuttle micro transit system has been suspended until further notice. These measures are being put in place for the protection of the community, visitors, and employees to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the healthcare system is not overwhelmed.
ELECTION DAY LOCATIONS
City-operated Community Centers serving as polling locations will be open for voting on Tuesday, March 17th from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. For a list of polling locations in Hollywood, please visit the Broward County Supervisor of Elections website at BrowardSOE.org

HEALTH RESTRICTIONS
Prohibited Visitation to Assisted Living Facilities & Restricted Visitation to Hospitals/Clinics across Florida for 30 days in an effort to stop the spread of novel coronavirus among some of the state’s most vulnerable population.
EDUCATION UPDATES
South Florida school districts have announced closures in their response to the growing coronavirus outbreak. Broward County and Miami-Dade Public Schools and the Archdiocese of Miami have announced the closure of all their schools beginning this week.

Miami-Dade County Schools: Effective March 16
Schools of Archdiocese of Miami: Effective March 17
