AN UPDATE FROM MAYOR HOLNESS / BROWARD COUNTY

These are trying times for all of us. Broward County is working night and day as we combat this coronavirus together as a community. Broward issued Emergency Order 20-03 which directs a Shelter-in-Place: Safer at Home Policy. Broward has also issued Emergency Order 20-04 which provides clarifications on certain closures. Please continue to follow the CDC guidelines to protect yourself and your loved ones. I know this is causing hardships for many in our community. The following is a list of updates and resources that I hope can assist you during this time.

MORTGAGE & RENTERS RELIEF:

Many mortgage lenders are willing to postpone mortgage payments during this crisis, without negative credit penalties. Foreclosures and evictions have been suspended for two months. Call your mortgage lender for more information. Contact your landlord if you are unable to pay your rent.
