COUNTY COVID UPDATE: County remains at Level 2 activation; events are being canceled

March 16, 2020 | Hollywood, FL

BROWARD COUNTY, FL – The Florida Department of Health (FDOH) continues to confirm additional cases of COVID-19 in Broward County. On Friday, March 13th, there were 11 cases, with five cases associated with Port Everglades. Epidemiological investigations continue on others.

 Specific strategic program areas for Economic and Small Business Development include: (1) Business Attraction, Expansion and Retention; (2) International Business Development; (3) Entrepreneurial Training and Development; (4) Capital Access and Special Zones; (5) Strengthening support for small business participation in County procurement; and (6) Providing technical assistance and resources to support small businesses.
